How We Decide

  • Keep: sound equipment that suits the boat.
  • Service: equipment that needs inspection or maintenance.
  • Upgrade: changes that improve reliability, access or crew workload.
  • Replace: equipment that is unsafe, obsolete or no longer suitable.

Priorities

Structure, watertightness, steering, propulsion, rig, energy, water and safety come first. Comfort follows.

Detailed updates will be published only after inspection, testing or completed work.

Must be right

Structure, watertightness and the underwater hull come before comfort.

Sensible later

Interior comfort follows once safety and reliability are established.
