A Name for a New Chapter
PRANIS is an invented name. For us, it marks a new beginning without erasing the yacht’s earlier life as Lancastrian.
By coincidence, the name resembles Prana, a word associated with breath, life and energy. That connection felt right for a boat moved by wind and water, and for a project built around freedom, movement and a home on the sea.
The meaning will grow with every passage, repair, quiet anchorage and person who shares part of the journey.
