From Lancastrian to PRANIS
When we first stepped aboard, the layout felt less like a yacht we might visit and more like a place where we could genuinely live. She had age, work ahead and a history of her own, but also the strength, space and character we had been looking for.
A New Chapter
Her former name, Lancastrian, remains part of her story. PRANIS marks the beginning of ours: not a clean slate, but a continuation we now take responsibility for.
Building Our Home
We keep equipment that is sound, repair what can be saved and replace only what no longer belongs in a safe long-distance boat. The aim is a home that is dependable at sea and comfortable in daily life.
The Road Ahead
From around mid-2027, we hope to begin longer Mediterranean quests towards Greece. The route remains open to weather, opportunity and time with family.
