Planned Voyages
Our plans are directions, not promises. Sailing routes depend on the condition of the boat, weather windows, seasonal patterns, crew energy, formalities and the simple fact that some places deserve more time than expected.
Our Current Direction
After the refit, we hope to base PRANIS somewhere around Marseille or the Gulf of Lion, provided we find a suitable berth. From around the middle of 2027, our first longer voyages are intended to lead east through the Mediterranean towards Greece.
This is a flexible working plan without a fixed timetable. We may wait, change ports, shorten a leg or stay longer when weather, technical readiness or life ashore makes that the sensible choice.
How We Plan
- Safety and vessel readiness before calendar dates.
- Seasonal weather and realistic passage windows.
- Alternative ports and places to wait.
- Fuel, water, maintenance and crew rest.
- Time for family visits and travel over land.
The route matters, but the freedom to change it is part of why we chose this life.
