PRANIS Logbook
Here we share the refit, life aboard and future voyages as they happen — honestly and without turning plans into promises.
What You Will Find
Short, dated entries about refit work, passages, anchorages, repairs, everyday life and lessons learned.
What you can expect
Passages and seamanship
When PRANIS sails, entries will describe the passage context, watch rhythms, routing considerations, sail handling, fatigue management, and the small choices that make offshore miles safer and calmer.
Weather and sea state
Expect plain descriptions of forecasts, actual conditions, swell, wind shifts, visibility, and comfort aboard. The focus will be on what was observed and how it influenced decisions.
Ports and anchorages
Notes from stops will cover arrivals, shelter, local practicalities, provisioning impressions, and how a place feels from the deck, without pretending to be a cruising guide.
Technical events and maintenance
Refit and cruising entries will explain problems, inspections, trade-offs, and maintenance decisions in understandable language, including why a conservative choice may matter offshore.
We write only when there is something real to share.
Follow the journey
Entries will follow PRANIS forward.
